Cats: it’s impossible to tell what’s going through their mind at any given moment. Take this upside-down couch cat for instance — what’s it thinking? Nothing? EVERYTHING? That’s the thing, you can’t tell. Per the cat’s caretaker: “Just my cat being weird.” But aren’t cats always being weird? So really, being weird is normal for a cat and being normal is weird for a cat. So you should have said ‘Just my cat being normal,’ which would have been accurate, or ‘maybe less catnip next time,’ which would have been even more accurate.
