The Mandalorian Season Two Finale Synced To ‘I Need A Hero’

The Mandalorian Season Two Finale Synced To 'I Need A Hero'

Hey guys I’ve been dealing with some life the past couple days and have been absent from the internet but I’m going to try to write some today and should be back with my brakes cut so I can’t even slow down if I wanted to tomorrow. Thank you for your patience. This is a video of the final scene from The Mandalorian’s second season synced to Bonnie Tyler’s ‘I Need A Hero’ for extra effect. Obviously, if you haven’t seen the second season of The Mandalorian there are some major spoilers. There’s also an edit of the Mandalorian and baby Yoda parting ways with Céline Dion’s ‘My Heart Will Go On’ added, and Ahsoka’s fight scene synced to Heart’s ‘Barracuda’. I don’t know, appparently some people just can’t help themselves from syncing scenes from The Mandalorian to different songs, which is actually great news because I can’t stop watching them.

Thanks to my friend Jackie, who agrees that hallway scene belongs in a museum.

We’ve Gone Too Far: All Other Characters Deepfaked As Michael Scott On The Office

We've Gone Too Far: All Other Characters Deepfaked As Michael Scott On The Office

Because people don’t know when to quit (only acceptable times: when you’re ahead, or before you even begin), this is a video from Youtuber Jessie Richards of all the other main characters deepfaked onto Michael Scott’s body while he explains bros before hos. Then there’s a clip of each character seamlessly transitioning into the next as he gets stoked about his trip to Sandals Jamaica. There are a couple other scenes after that but I had to stop watching because I was getting…how do I put this? “Too turned on?” Hungry — I was going to say hungry. “Then you won’t mind standing up.” No! my legs are numb it’ll hurt.

Starling Bird Murmuration (Swarming Pattern) Doesn’t Even Look Real

Starling Bird Murmuration (Swarming Pattern) Doesn't Even Look Real

Mother Nature: she can be breathtaking. Case in point: these starling murmurations (swarming behavior) above Geldermasen in the Netherlands filmed at dusk by nature photographer Marco Valk. Why do starlings do this? Let me copy/paste that for you while I wish I had friends to fly with:

Grouping together offers safety in numbers – predators such as peregrine falcons find it hard to target one bird in the middle of a hypnotising flock of thousands. They also gather to keep warm at night and to exchange information, such as good feeding areas.

Wait — to exchange information like good feeding areas?! How do they do that? And how do we know that? Are we sure they aren’t just telling jokes and bragging about all the cars they pooped on? I mean I’m not saying I’m an ornithologist, but I did rescue a baby hummingbird that had fallen out if its nest once so I’m also not saying I’m not not one.

Whoaly Sh*t: Giant Gas Tank Rolls Off Trailer During Transport

Whoaly Sh*t: Giant Gas Tank Rolls Off Trailer During Transport

Because no matter how hard you plan, Murphy finds a way, this is a video from Germany of a massive metal gas tank being transported when it rolls right off the trailer that’s hauling it. Clearly the tie-down straps didn’t do the trick. According to one Redditor that allegedly knows the whole story:

It was a gas tank and it was the 2nd transport attempt. (The 1st was cancelled because they needed to cut trees on route, to make room for the massive convoy to pass. Majority of people living in te area was against it, so they had to find an alternative route)

ETA it took days to clean up after the accident. Transport was in Germany, the transport company is a Dutch company. It was their first big accident in over 100 years of being a transport company

And, according to the person filming: “Whoa! Whoa! Wowly sh*t! Wowly sh*t! Whoa–ly shit! Whoa! Scheisse! Scheisse! Whoa! Whoa! WHOOOA!” Honestly, I don’t think anybody could have said it better.

Wowly sh*t from r/Wellthatsucks

Thanks to my dad, who agrees that could have gone much smoother.

Door Does Miles Davis Trumpet Impression

Door Does Miles Davis Trumpet Impression

Because nothing but the absolute hardest hitting news today (and every day), this is a video from a Chicago parking garage (level 3) door that, according to uploader Mr. King, does an impression of Miles Davis from his 1970 album Bitches Brew. That is very specific. I didn’t expect much, but it really is a treat, and I have to agree with Mr. King at the end of the video: “Money.” Now we just need to get that door in the studio with some equally talented windows to record some tracks.

Awkward Bugs Taking Flight In Ultra Slow-Motion

Awkward Bugs Taking Flight In Ultra Slow-Motion

This is a video of Youtuber Ant Lab’s quest to capture different insects taking flight in 3,200 frames/second ultra-slow motion. Featured in the video are eleven different species of insects spanning five different taxonomic orders. Timestamps while I eat the Totino’s Pizza Rolls I didn’t finish last night for breakfast because I just spotted them on a plate on the coffee table and I’m not a waster:

00:00 – weevils
01:44 – katydids
03:02 – bark lice
04:00 – march fly
04:59 – assassin bug
06:02 – katydid

Which was your favorite? I think they weevils were mine. They’re just so…awkward. Like they 100% look like they shouldn’t be flying, but they do it anyways. Kind of like old people and driving.
