Parrot Throws Tantrum When Owner Says She’s Going To Step Out For A Few

Parrot Throws Tantrum When Owner Says She's Going To Step Out For A Few

This is a video of very precious Milo the ring-necked parakeet throwing a temper tantrum when his owner tells him that she’s going to step outside for a little while. It sounds like he’s actually mocking her. It only lasts a short while though before he’s back to blowing kisses and telling her he loves her. Honestly, he kinda reminds me of my girlfriend in an argument. I mean, minus the leaving in a huff and slamming the door and *checking watch* what’s it been now, about seven months?

Uncomfortable Looking Standing Mats Designed To Replicate Rocks And Branches

Uncomfortable Looking Standing Mats Designed To Replicate Rocks And Branches

This is the already incredibly funded (~$700,000!) Kickstarter campaign for the STOIC standing mat, a modular standing mat “inspired by nature to stretch, strengthen and massage your feet during your workday.” Honestly, it looks like it was inspired by making me just want to sit down. Stoic has interchangeable footpads that include a standard ‘bed of nails’ pressure point mat, and the two seen above: river rocks, and redwood forest. There’s also an interchangeable balance beam in the middle with three different levels of balancing difficulty. Of course to get one of the setups seen above it’s going to cost you $269, making in significantly cheaper to just dump a bucket of LEGO bricks in front of your computer and curse your way through the work day.

Keep going for several more shots and their Kickstarter video.

Thanks to Josh J, who informed me he’s holding out for a red-hot coals version. Smart.

Beastie Boys’ ‘Intergalactic’ Performed Over The Ghostbusters Theme

Beastie Boys' 'Intergalactic' Performed Over The Ghostbusters Theme

This is a mashup of the Beastie Boys’ ‘Intergalactic’ performed over the beat of Ray Parker Jr.’s Ghostbusters theme, with scenes from both the music video and movie. As one Youtuber pointed out, this is might be what happens when the streams are crossed. Could you imagine if that giant robot and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man…you know. “Had sex?” Crazy to think about, right? I mean I’d still pay to watch, but I’d be ready to run.

A Paw-Operated Photo Booth For Dogs Built Out Of LEGO

A Paw-Operated Photo Booth For Dogs Built Out Of LEGO

This is a video of very spirited maker of things Simone Giertz constructing a LEGO photo booth for her dog Scraps so Scraps can take selfies by pressing a pedal with her paw. When the pedal is pressed a treat is released, so Scraps gets a treat, Simone gets a dog photo, and the world becomes a better place. You know, it’s always bittersweet watching well behaved dogs in Youtube videos when your own at home are such little monsters. “Maybe you should get them trained.” Maybe — or maybe I should just get a whole bunch more and hope for a good one.

Guy Builds Giant Star Wars Inspired Entertainment Console And Server Rack

Guy Builds Giant Star Wars Inspired Entertainment Console And Server Rack

This is a video of Bob of I Like To Make Stuff (me too, but mostly just messes) constructing a giant Star Wars inspired entertainment center (television) and server rack (to hold audio, video, and computer equipment) for his office. The result is…well, let’s just say that’s going to look pretty freaking awesome under a tarp in the back of a friend’s borrowed pickup truck while I’m speeding away from Bob’s office.

keep going for the entire build, but skip to the last few minutes for all the final components being added, and to 25:20 for the finished product.

Step Brothers Deepfaked With Sylvester Stallone And Arnold Schwarzenegger

Step Brothers Deepfaked With Sylvester Stallone And Arnold Schwarzenegger

In I’m honestly surprised it took this long news, this is a video of Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger as Dale Doback (John C. Reilly) and Brennan Huff (Will Ferrell) in Step Brothers, as deepfaked by Brian Monarch. It works unsurprisingly well, presumably because Stallone and Schwarzenegger actually are stepbrothers in real life. “No they’re not.” Oh I’m sorry, have you logged into their Ancestory.com accounts? Have you personally constructed and drawn out their family trees? Because I have and *slapping paper on desk* how do you explain THIS? “A turkey drawing made from the outline of your hand?” I’ll accept that apology whenever you’re ready.

Thanks to Cyndi M, who provided a bunch of Step Brothers quotes with her tip that I don’t really remember, although she may have just been talking gibberish.
