SpaceX Starship Explodes During Landing After Test Flight
Because sometimes you have to razzle-dazzle the crowd with a fireworks show to renew interest in your project, this is a video of a SpaceX Starship exploding while attempting to land after a successful high-altitude flight test. Afterwards, Elon Musk congratulated the team for gathering the data they needed during the test flight, and said the explosion was caused by the fuel header tank’s pressure being low, resulting in a high touchdown velocity (aka crash). Man, if I had a dollar for every time I had a project explode and still considered it a success even though I got dead-last place in the science fair, I’d have a dollar for every year I went to high school. “So $7.50.” That’s some decent pocket change!
LOL: Newly Built Bookcase Rapidly Disassembles Itself
Because there can only be one Bob Vila, this is a short video of an alleged newly built bookcase rapidly disassembling itself into a perfect pile of particle boards. I assume the video was set up but the way it crumbles is perfect and the guy who’s filming it has a laugh that’s infectious. Like I think he for real may have given me something but I’m afriad to go to the doctor because, well…you know. “The last time you went he spent 40 minutes telling you how awesome your penis is.” He made me late for a lunch date!
Awww: Students Surprise Teacher During Last Zoom Class
This is an incredibly heartwarming video of students surprising their teacher Dr. Brown during their last Zoom class of the fall semester with signs expressing their thanks. When the class started and all the students’ cameras were off, Dr. Brown initially thought maybe he’d accidentally done something to mute their cameras or upset them. Then, SURPRISE, just the opposite. That was really, really great. *raising glass* To more Dr. Browns, and to more students like these ones.
@laurenherrle13 surprised the sweetest teacher on our last day of class 🥺❤️ ##HolidayCrafts ##CancelTheNoise ##UpTheBeat ##fyp
Video Of Animals Crossing Utah Highway Using ‘Wildlife Overpass’
Because nature is often an afterthought in humanity’s race towards progress, this is a video from the recently constructed (2018) Parleys Canyon Wildlife Overpass above Interstate 80 in Utah that allows animals to safely cross six lanes of traffic without getting flattened. The overpass, which is 320-feet long and 50-feet wide (the state’s largest), is covered with rocks and logs to make it more natural to animals, which are funneled to the bridge via three and a half miles of fencing. Obviously, this would probably be a good place to ambush prey if you’re a bobcat. Wait — ARE you a bobcat? “No.” That’s exactly what a bobcat would say. In the video you can see a variety of animals using the bridge, including deer, elk, moose, beavers, squirrels, other small mouse-like things, coyotes, a bear, and at least one bobcat, who you probably know because you are one. “I’m not a bobcat.” Pfft, I’ve seen the look you get when you’re thinking about eating me.
Thanks to my mom, for everything. That means my mom and dad both sent tips today!
Video Of Cars On Top Deck Of A Cargo Ship Burning
In “My car! What did you do to my car?!’ news, this is a video from a cargo ship carrying vehicles on the top deck that catch fire, eventually burning to sad, empty husks of their former automotive selves. There’s speculation the salt water may have shorted a battery causing the fire, but I suspect the answer is much simpler: insurance fraud. And I’m not just saying that because this is exactly what I would have done, but it is and I took this video.
Thanks to my dad, for everything.
Leaked Government Photo Of Motionless UFO
This is a leaked government photo that’s believed to have been taken in 2018 of a “motionless, cube-shaped” unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) as captured by the personal cell phone of “a backseat weapons system operator on an F/A-18F Super Hornet” while flying over the Atlantic Ocean off the east coast of the United States. Wait — jet fighters fly with their cell phones? Why? Also, I’m not saying somebody might need to take a preschool refresher course in shapes and colors, but that’s not exactly what I’d call cube-shaped.
It’s possible the object may be a GPS dropsonde, a sensor on a parachute that provides info on the vertical profile of a storm. But as McMillan points out (and confirms with an atmospheric researcher), the actual dropsonde doesn’t appear in the photo—just the potential square-cone parachute. And there would obviously have to be an aircraft above the object to drop it, and no such craft is visible in the image.
Is the object a research balloon? Probably not, two defense officials tell McMillan. “Pilots who encountered the object described that, unlike a balloon under similar conditions, the object was completely motionless and seemingly unaffected by ambient air currents,” he writes.
So — aliens. We finally have definitive proof. I mean just look at that thing, there can be no doubt. I only wish they’d taken me with them when they left, you know? Like how I feel after my mom forgets I went to the grocery store with her and doesn’t answer her cell phone till she’s back home.
Thanks to Jeffrey S, who agrees they are among us.
