This is some footage (that leaves something to be desired, namely a better view and an ultra-highspeed camera) of the US Air Force testing a rocket sled traveling at 6,400ft/sec. For reference, a mile is 5,280-feet, so this thing is doing 6,599MPH! That’s Mach 8.6. Holy shit! You know it’s a shame they didn’t let me strap myself to the front of it, because I’ve always wanted to wear my skeleton outside my body so I can finally win a Halloween costume contest.
That's it, call the city, tell them to put up a stop sign.
