This is a video of a horn player spiritedly holding an infinitely long note using a circular breathing technique (breathing in through the nose while blowing out through the mouth using air stored in the cheeks). One of their bandmates humorously comes over to try to stop them before the sustained note summons an ancient slumbering beast, but they just keeps going. That is impressive. For reference, I passed out just watching and imagining trying to do this, and when I came to my dogs were already starting to circle to eat me. I was only out for like six minutes! Best friends my ass, I’m not letting them sleep in the bed anymore.
