This is a video of a man with his legs stuck in the sand at the beach doing his best wacky inflatable tube guy impression as a friend pretends to fill him with air. He’s good. So good I wouldn’t mind him doing the same impression on the street outside my used car lot to help drum up some business. Need a car that isn’t a lemon? Because some people are determined to not take the danger of fireworks seriously *hides bandaged hand behind back* this is a video of a 4th of July mishap in which a garage full of fireworks starts a house fire. That is unfortunate for them. One minute you think you’re going to have a fantastic 4th of July fireworks spectacular, and the next you’re being denied an insurance claim due to negligence. Maybe Labor Day is more your speed.

This is a video of The Jimi Hendrix Experience performing ‘Hey Joe’ in 1967, just a year after the band was formed. During the song, Jimi plays part of the solo with his teeth and tongue. Classic Jimi! I also included a remastered HD video of the band performing the same song again later that year at the Monterey Pop Festival. Those were different times. Better times? Depends on who you ask. I would argue they were, but I also didn’t live through them and hate the AI days we’re living in now. Rose-colored glasses, you know? “What about them?” My girlfriend is always wearing them, looks like a damn hippie!

Back with another size comparison visualization, this is a video from MetaBallStudios (previously) comparing the sizes of numerous weapons from pop culture, from tiny rings and handguns to massive space station sized superweapons. Obviously, comparing a rifle directly to the Death Star would be like comparing apples to an orchard, so they’re displayed in order from smallest to largest so you can compare them directly to similarly sized weapons. I learned a lot by watching it. Mostly, that my penis would rank ninth largest on the list if it were a weapon. It’s not though, because I make love, not war. I also make messes.

This is a video of a group of adventurers who are neither claustrophobic nor afraid of the dark pushing a large rock over the side of a 600-foot pit in a cave to hear the sound it makes. And what a sound it does make! I thought for sure they’d awoken a Balrog. And maybe they did, rumor in the Shire is nobody’s heard from them since.

I don’t really have any details about how the fire dress was actually made, and the intrigue makes it even cooler. Is there magic involved? Maybe! Fire and magic go hand in hand like a young couple through a haunted house at Halloween.
