This is a video from Architecture Digest of Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig providing a tour of the Barbie dreamhouse set, and all the thought and consideration that went into building it. Dang, now I really want to see the movie. When does it come out? We should start camping out for tickets now. Remember when people used to do that? I did it for Star Wars: The Phantom Menace when it came out. *eyeroll* That was 72 hours of my life I’ll never get back.

This is a video from a Holiday Inn in San Jose, California of a thieving couple using a Lock Monkey style under-the-door lever opener to try to gain access to one of the rooms after knocking to make sure nobody was home (the woman in the room saw them through the peephole when they knocked but didn’t answer). That’s terrifying. The police were called, but the scumbags got away before authorities arrived. That’s a shame, because I love seeing thieves get what they deserve. In this case, being hit by a police cruiser speeding into a hotel parking lot.

This is a video from the Mala Mala Game Reserve in South Africa of a troop of baboons avoiding a pride of lions by hiding underneath the bridge the lions are traveling across. Smart. Me? I hide from lions by living 10,200 miles away from most of them. It’s been pretty effective so far, but I still sleep with a tranq rifle by the side of my bed just in case. The zoo, you know? Who thought THAT was a good idea?

Cast some 3,000 years ago (~1450 BC) in the Middle Bronze Age likely near what’s now Nördlingen, Germany, this bronze sword was recently unearthed in exceptional quality. Shoot, I’d still quest with it. Its preservation is due in part to the naturally antimicrobial copper salts in the sword, and the fact that copper doesn’t corrode in the same way as iron. How about that! Is it still sharp enough to cut off an arm? No clue, but we’ll start with one of your fingers first.

This is a video from a recent Indiana State vs Iowa college baseball game in which an Indiana State outfielder pretends to catch a Iowa batter’s home run ball, convincing him enough that the hitter stops running and begins to walk off the field. As he does, his teammates urge him back, and the outfielder reveals that he, in fact, did not catch the ball. Now I’m not saying that outfielder is almost certainly a dirtbag and a cheater, but I wouldn’t play cards with him. Not even go fish. *flipping table* I KNOW YOU HAVE THREES.

Because everybody wants to be the next Blue Man Group, this is a video of Japanese band BOZESTYLE performing The Imperial March via buttons attached to their bald heads (with the addition of some mannequins). That’s something. Maybe not something I’d pay $80 to see in Vegas, but only because I already blew through the last of my money. “Craps table?” God no, buffet table — I only gamble with my health.
