This is a video highlighting all the real OSHA violations spotted in Boston Dynamics’ latest video of its ATLAS humanoid robot doing some construction work. Unsurprisingly, the robot does NOT follow proper safety guidelines. Like, at all. I wish I could say I’m surprised. I also wish I could say I’m rich on dates and not have to mumble ‘in stupidity’ afterwards.

This is some home security cam footage of a young German Shepherd taking an Amazon package and playing with it like a toy while the delivery driver tries and fails to capture a photo as proof of delivery. Honestly, I feel like a wide shot of the dog in the yard chewing on the box should be sufficient. Also, I’m not 100% convinced this dog wasn’t trained as some sort of not so elaborate Amazon fraud scheme.

This is a video of the insanely impressive Switch inspired entertainment center built by Nintendo fan Alexander Girbinger. The two controller ends are automated and extend out to reveal NES, Super Nintendo, N64, and GameCube consoles, along with four controllers for each that rotate out of hidden compartments like this is all part of a magic show. I don’t know about you, but I’m dazzled. Connection jacks for the all the controllers extends out of another retractable panel out of the bottom of the entertainment center. Wow wow wow. Obviously, I just put out a roommate wanted ad in the newspaper explicitly stating anybody but Alexander Girbinger need not apply. Fingers crossed he’s local.

This is a video of a precious lil Yorkshire Terrier that’s become a science experiment after repeatedly rubbing itself on the sofa and building up static electricity. It reminds me of myself after sticking my hand on the Van de Graaff Generator at the science museum. Good times. Not nearly enough tasteful nudes for a museum, but I still managed to have some fun.

This is a clip from some divers exploring the waters off the coast of Toyooka, Japan when they swam across a rarely seen giant squid. Just look at that thing! It’s easy to see now how stories of the kraken came to be. The squid, likely a juvenile only a year or two old, measured between 8 and 10 feet in length, which, as far as squids go, is entirely too long as far as I’m concerned. The only thing I want to see 8 or 10 feet long is a party hoagie, and I hope you brought your appetite.

Because raccoons are nature’s ninjas, these are several videos from wildlife rehabilitator Angie Renée of a bunch of raccoons playing on, and trying to climb up, a playground slide. That looks like a good time, and I’m going to pretend I’m not upset that I wasn’t invited to this trash panda party, even though I’m hurting deeply inside. What is it about me that makes people want to not invite me to parties? “You just drink all the liquor and alienate people.” Well you’re not wrong, but it still doesn’t feel good to hear.
