Daredevil Passes Through Windshield And Out Rear Of Van Doing 50MPH

Daredevil Passes Through Windshield And Out Rear Of Van Doing 50MPH

Because Russian daredevils take daredeviling far more seriously than the rest of the world, this is a video of Russian lunatic Evgeny Chebotarev passing through a van traveling at 50MPH by hopping up off a wooden support right as the van approaches him, cleanly traveling through the whole van from removed windshield to back doors and landing in the road as it passes arond him, having only traveled about four feet vertically during the whole stunt. For reference, that is totally nuts and I am definitely going to try it this weekend against the best wishes of everyone who cares about me, and the encouragement of everyone who doesn’t.

Keep going for several angles of the stunt to see how it was performed.

Thanks again to JustA, who agrees sometimes you just have to spit in Death’s eye and go for it.

The Pokemon Intro Recreated Using Only Stock Footage

The Pokemon Intro Recreated Using Only Stock Footage

From Matt Highton (of Spice Girls/Dune mashup fame) comes this video of the Pokemon cartoon intro recreated using only stock footage he edited together. The result is pretty impressive in a lot of ways, and pretty desperate in a lot of other ways (I’m looking at you, Blastoise). It kind of reminds me of the knock-off Pokemon toys I bought at the dollar store — Prokemüns I think they’re called. I tried passing them off to my niece and nephew for Christmas last year as the real deal, and they didn’t even bother to write thank-you cards. Those are some ungrateful kids you’re raising, Becky!

Dog On Balcony Smells Downstairs Neighbor Grilling Chicken

Dog On Balcony Smells Downstairs Neighbor Grilling Chicken

This is a video of a dog that smells a downstairs neighbor cooking chicken on the grill directly below its balcony. My God did that smell good. That was a G.I. Joe ‘Pork Chop Sandwiches’ reference, just so we’re clear. Dogs, am I right? Even bad dogs are still better than any human could ever be, and I should know because I take care of two of the very worst dogs. Just kidding, they’re perfect in every way and I don’t even care that Ellie pooped in her bed last night, which also happens to be my bed.

How LEGO Minifigs Are Made

How LEGO Minifigs Are Made

In now that would make an awesome middle school field trip news (we went to a waste water treatment plant), this is a video from inside a LEGO factory detailing how minifigs are made, at rates up to 8,000 minifigs/hour. Fascinating. Of course the short answer of how LEGO minifigs are made is that they aren’t — they come unassembled and YOU have to make them yourself. LOLOL! God I’m so clever. “Sharp as a pillow.” Mom! “Speaking of — go make your bed.” No, I’m going to get back in it.

Woman Delivers Ski Resort Snow Report While Skier Struggles Down Stairs In Background

This is a video of Abbey Way delivering a recent snow report for Seven Springs Mountain Resort in southwestern Pennsylvania while a skier hangs on for dear life in the background trying to make it down the stairs. Do you think Abbey was self-taping the video, or do you think there was someone laughing into their snow jacket behind the camera watching this person struggle? Whatever the case, Seven Springs is actually one of the ski resorts we would go to on high school ski trips when I lived in Maryland. It also holds the honor of being the place where I touched my very first boob. A snowwoman boob, but still, I made her pretty realistic with beer bottle eyes and everything.

Thanks to JustA, who’s probably going to kill me and that snowwoman now out of jealousy. Ooooor just think I’m an idiot, which I am.

A Subreddit For Photos Of TVs Mounted Too High

A Subreddit For Photos Of TVs Mounted Too High

Because these sorts of things need to be talked about, /TVTooHigh is a subreddit for photos of flatscreen televisions mounted too high, or posts from people seeking feedback about the height they’ve mounted their own televisions, most of which are entirely too high, or low. From what I’ve seen, the majority of too highly mounted televisions are the result of mounting above fireplaces that already exist on a living room’s logical TV wall. The rest are just the result of incredibly poor decision making. The height of the television in my girlfriend’s bedroom? It starts almost perfectly at her eye level, but gets lower and lower as my arms get tired.

Keep going for a bunch more examples, my favorites of which (besides the main photo) are the one mounted at the ceiling with the spotlights on it for maximum glare, and the one in the kitchen.
