This is a video of Youtuber How To Make Everything constructing the sawmill detailed in Leonardo Da Vinci’s notebook in 1478, using only tools and methods that existed back then (read: no power tools, makes his own nails). He does use a water pump to replicate a river though to turn the water wheel. Damn, did that say 1478? That was a long time ago! Like 545 years ago if you’re reading this in 2023. If you’re reading this in the future, well, it’s nice to think humanity launched a copy of this website into space before the earth was destroyed.

Because even cowboys love disco, this is the disco ball inspired cowboy hat handmade and sold by Etsy shop MysticalMosaicsGifts. It’s a cowboy hat covered with a mosaic of small mirrored tiles just like a disco ball, available with or without dangly tassels. Will it blind your dueling opponent at high noon? Without a question. It’s funny, as ridiculous as this thing is, I actually know people who will have to have it and wear it all the time. And those people are me.

This is a video of Joseph of Joseph’s Machines (previously) demonstrating the elaborate alarm clock and human car wash was he constructed to get him out of bed, washed, dressed, and out the door in just under two minutes. That’s impressive. For reference, it generally takes me about six hours to leave the house after waking up, and that’s assuming I don’t swing by the sofa for a lil’ napper on the way out the door.
