Because teamwork makes the dream work (at least according to the poster I’m forever staring at in HR), is a video of insect keeper Terra Green challenging his 1,000 worker ant colony with four increasingly difficult obstacles separating them from a food reward. The first obstacle is digging to find food, the second cracking a paper safe, the third a tightrope, and the fourth a sticky tape barrier. Minus the first obstacle they don’t do all that great, and I feel like they could really benefit from a team-building seminar. Not brag or anything, but I could have passed all four of these tests. “…But you’re a giant human.” Sure, I mean maybe not with flying colors, but I would have earned those grasshopper leg treats.
