Because soon robots will be having all of our fun for us, this is a video of the Ultra Mobile Vehicle (UMV) developed by researchers as at the Robotics and AI Institute (RAI, making this RAI’s UMV for those of you who love acronyming). It’s a little e-bike that can balance, ride over obstacles, and do tricks autonomously. The way it jumps onto the table — that’s wild. If this thing had handlebar streamers and spokie-dokies it would have melted 8-year old me’s face off.
