Inspired by the keyboards used by Lumon’s Macrodata Refinement department in Severance, Atomic Keyboards is Kickstarting a limited edition of replicas, complete with trackballs for work that’s mysterious and important. The CNC-milled aluminum keyboards will be available for $599 ($899 retail *spit-takes coffee drank 3 hours ago*) and feature 3 swappable keyboard layouts: innie (bare minimum — no control, option, or escape keys), outie (actually functional), and full. It’s the integrated trackball for me though. I love trackballs. But mostly taking the ball out and playing with it. Same goes for the ball in the bottom of oldschool computer mice. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve tried taking a bite out of one of those hard boiled egg yolks, but I’d find an empty computer lab in college and just go wild.
