This is a video of Nuggets the myna bird (I believe she’s a common myna, but don’t tell her that) running through her human speech repertoire, saying things like, “Hi, hi!”, “Whatta ya doing? Whatta ya doing?,” and, my personal favorite, “My name Is Nuuuuugets and I’m a big fat chiiiiicken.” What a little firecracker. You know I’ve always daydreamed about living on the beach of a tropical island with a myna bird friend. As a matter of fact I’m daydreaming about it right now. And what’s that — some topless sunbathers frolicking in the surf! *girlfriend slaps back of head* Oh, no, you’re right — they do have tops on after all.
