This is some police bodycam footage of pizza delivery driver absolute hero Nicholas Bostic, who was delivering pizza in Lafayette, Indiana when he noticed a home on fire. Details about his heroism while I question whether I’d have the courage to do the same:
He parked and ran up to the house to alert the occupants. Inside were five sleeping children.
Bostic rushed in through the back door of the house and screamed out that the house was on fire. He found four children and took them outside. They told him that a six-year-old child was on the second story. Bostic rushed back into the house, now engulfed with flames. The smoke was so thick that he couldn’t see, but he nonetheless found the child and jumped out of a window with her.
Nicholas suffered a serious cut on one arm (you can see the blood in the video) and severe smoke inhalation and had to be hospitalized, but has since been released. What a stud. And if this doesn’t warrant a key to the city, it damn well better be because all the doors in Lafayette are wild west saloon style and don’t have locks.
Here’s the video to go along with the story. pic.twitter.com/TvZ5wzCg1f
