This is a video of ‘Stairway To Heaven’, a collaboration between South African artist Strijdom van der Merwe and Taiwanese artist Chou Sheng-hsien. From just the right angle, it looks like a three dimensional stairway reaching ever skyward. From almost every other angle, it looks like a flat ladder rising straight vertically. Even knowing it isn’t a real stairway to heaven, will I still try climbing it realizing it’s probably my only chance of getting there after being tricked out of my soul by the devil for a PS5 that actually turned out to be a PS3 in a PS5 box? If I’m being completely honest, if there’s exercise involved, probably not.
