LEGO Icons set #11380, appropriately titled Road Bike, is a 1,015 piece build kit that, if assembled without accidentally breaking it into 1,015 pieces, produces a 23.5″ long, 14″ tall road bike. It includes rubber wheels, a chain-driven back wheel that turns when the pedals are pedaled, and a water bottle. Gotta have a water bottle — not having one would have been a deal breaker for me. The set costs $130, which, unfortunately, is also a deal breaker for me. Not because it’s unreasonable, but because I don’t have $130. And not just to spend on LEGO, I don’t have $130 period. I’ve been hiding from my girlfriend because I know she wants me to take her out for dinner. “I CAN HEAR YOU UNDER THE BLANKET.” Sh!t, gotta go!
