Spotted by Instagram user von_keck at DragonCon, this is a brief video of a man’s fantastic soot sprite (Susuwatari, traveling soot) costume, inspired by those seen in Studio Ghibli films Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro. I love those little soot sprites. I mean how couldn’t you? You show me somebody who doesn’t like soot sprites, and I’ll show you a real sociopath. Somebody who should be locked up and the key hidden in a dragon’s ass for the good of society.
