This is a video of paraglider Ulvi Ercan experiencing a “60 percent asymmetrical collapse” while gliding and losing his GoPro in the process, which captures its fall from 1,100 meters safely to the ground below. Of course it landed in soft grass and not on a boulder, which I’m sure helped. Thankfully, Ulvi was able to recover from the paraglider collapse and track down the camera afterwards.

I didn’t realize it fell off. I was able to find the rough location by analyzing flight log and spot the location collapse I had. After that, just used Quik app and wished for the best. Just turning it on and off to listen the beep sound. Rest was easy.

Damn, that was some smart thinking, because I definitely would not have recovered that camera. I can’t even recover my phone, and I know it’s in the house and can hear it every time somebody calls. “Awww, you have friends.” Hahahaha, no, I have relentless scammers.
