This is a video of TikTok user sanxyra providing the correct pronunciations for a handful of road names in Iceland, which all look suspiciously like they were chosen by pouring out Scrabble tiles. Because I have a curious mind, I went to Youtube to find a video of a GPS unit attempting to pronounce road names in Iceland, and found just what I was looking for, which I also included below. Me? I’ve actually driven in Iceland before but I never used GPS, or paid attention to road names. I mean, who care about directions when you’re just going to crash your Skoda into a fjord anyways?
