Pole Vaulter’s Junk Brings Bar Down

This is a clip from a recent Olympic pole vaulting event in which French vaulter Anthony Ammirati brought the bar down with his massive unit during a 5.70m attempt, preventing him from advancing for a shot at the gold medal. Speaking after the disqualification, Anthony said, “I was 100 percent physically, but I was missing a little pole.” HIYO! At least he has a good sense of humor about it. His social media following has jumped from 5,000 to over 177,000 since the incident, proving this will likely serve him far better than a gold medal ever would.
