This is a video of Norwegian mountain biker Brage Vestavik riding down an absolutely bonkers trail made with what appear to be lengths of cut shipping pallets. “It’s called wood.” And wood is good. Red Bull titled the video ‘The Gnarliest Line Ever Ridden?’, and while it certainly might be high on the list, nothing will ever top the line I took down the big hill in my neighborhood growing up and f*cked up my knee. That line was so gnarly I still think about it every day 30 years later. Mostly when my knee hurts, but also whenever I see a bike or a hill.
