Set up by the University of Minnesota’s Voyageurs Wolf Project, a trailcam recently captured footage of a rare black wolf in the area. According to the International Wolf Center (which is a real thing that exists, unlike the International Cougar Database I wish existed when I was still young and handsome), less than 2% of wolves in Minnesota are black, making it a significantly rare sighting.
