LEGO Unveils $1,000 Death Star, Its Largest Most Expensive Set Ever

Presumably tipped off that my grandma always sends my Christmas money early, LEGO has just announced its largest and most expensive set to date: the Star Wars Death Star. The set contains 9,023 pieces (including 33 minifigs), and measures 32″ wide, 28″ tall, and 11″ deep. It will release October 4th and features a cross section of everyone’s favorite non-moon to recreate scenes from Return Of The Jedi, my favorite of which is the trash compactor scene.Per Han Solo, “One thing’s for sure. We’re all gonna be a lot thinner!” Haha, my old doctor says I should be thinner too. Dude’s got a belly like Santa Claus! I told him maybe he should lead by example and that’s when he referred me to a doctor for troublesome patients, who turned out to be a vet. I’ve been happy with him for years now.
