This is some drone footage from filmmaker Devon Massyn of the underwater volcano Kavachi in the Solomon Islands erupting. It’s pretty wild. And the sound! The volcanic activity heats and expands nearby water so quickly it’s the equivalent of a hot tub full of water instantly expanding to the size of an olympic swimming pool. Damn! But are we sure this is volcanic activity? Because I’ve see enough movies to at least seriously consider the possibility this is Godzilla snoring.
