Because every car commercial should look like it takes place moments after a bank heist gone awry, this is a video of Chinese car manufacturer VOYAH using their electric crossover Passion S to perform a 360° corkscrew in a tunnel. After getting up to speed, the vehicle uses one ramp to briefly cruise across the ceiling before returning to the road via another. The stunt was inspired by this previous Mercedes Benz commercial which featured the same stunt, but was CGI. Damn, Mercedes, Voyah has thrown down the gauntlet! Are you gonna take that sitting in your plush leather interior? I suggest answering back with an even BIGGER stunt. Maybe a real one this time. I’m thinking something with a car driving out the back of a plane. Call me if you need more bad ideas, I’m full of them. Also: Uncrustables.
First video is the cinematic commercial, followed by the stunt from all angles for proof, then a failed early attempt that didn’t look nearly fast enough.
