In celebration of the new Mortal Kombat movie coming out (I watched it twice in the theater and once on HBO Max using my girlfriend’s brother’s wife’s account!), this is a video of an amateur street fight with Mortal Kombat sound effects added. I really appreciate the tall guy’s use of the spinning kick — you don’t see that every day. Clearly this man fancies himself some sort of martial artist, and I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised to learn he owns several Bruce Lee posters, and at least one pair of replica ninja swords on a wooden stand. Plus he gets in a little bonus four-finger poke and kidney kick after the fight has clearly ended. You have to admire that sort of ferocity. Obviously, if I were king he would be my champion and fight in my stead. Probably only once though if we’re being perfectly honest.
