Littering: it’s illegal in Japan. It’s also illegal here but you’d never guess it from all the McDonald’s bags blowing across the road like tumbleweeds. Enter Keisuke Nakagome and Yusuke Matsumoto, the litter collecting samurai of Shibuya, Japan. Every weekend they descend upon the city and flamboyantly collect litter with their samurai tongs. Is it the most efficient way to pick up trash? Absolutely not. But it’s not always about doing things efficiently. I mean, sure, my boss and I argue about this all the time but *puts feet on desk, accidentally typing nonsense email and sending to entire company* what does management know really?
