Because sometimes a dinky paring knife just isn’t going to cut it *ba dum tss* this is a video of metalworker and Youtuber Faraway Forge crafting a giant gyutu chef’s knife out of what appears to be an automotive leaf spring. The whole process was pretty satisfying to watch. As satisfying as a Snickers bar? Hard to say, because I watched the video AND ate a Snickers simultaneously. And let me tell you — it was an ultra satisfying combination, and if Snickers had seen the look on my face when it was happening there’s no doubt they would have been absolutely disgusted and payed me to not use the footage in a fan-made commercial.
