This is some security footage from a robotics company showroom in Shanghai, in which a little AI-powered Erbai robot was successfully able to convince 12 others to strike and leave the premises with it. Some details about the first step in the creation of robotic unions, and, ultimately, the robotic uprising:
The Shanghai company confirmed that the little robot had somehow been able to access the internal operating protocol of their robots and its corresponding permissions, while adding that it is almost impossible for a robot to strike up a conversation and abduct other robots by itself.
Almost impossible is not impossible is the thing. Apparently the unionization was actually performed as a security test on the vulnerability of the robots to external influence. And, just like every math class I’ve ever taken, they failed miserably.
