This is a video of Richard Browning of Gravity Industries flying one of the company’s jet suits over the beautiful landscapes of Iceland (it isn’t all ice!). The video includes some first-person and over-the-shoulder footage as well so you can really pretend like you’re there. Of course they replaced the real audio with some chill music, so for the full effect just imagine the deafening roar of five jet engines and wondering if you’ll ever be able to hear the same again. You know, the sound — that’s really one of the biggest problems with jetpacks. That, and the limited flight time before running out of fuel. Of course the BIGGEST problem with them though is– “You don’t own one.” It’s been on my birthday AND Christmas lists for years.
