Even with my limited memory, I’m fairly certain I posted this on Geekologie back in the day, but that site when belly-up after I had to leave so here it is again, where it can live on forever, or at least until the internet is destroyed like I pray for every day. This is some security cam footage (from two different angles!) of an unsupervised youngster playing with fireworks (so far, so good), when he throws one down a gas-filled manhole and blows up half the sidewalk in the process. Luckily for him, he escaped unscathed, and probably doesn’t play with fireworks anymore. Or maybe he plays with fireworks even more. I know watching the video made me want to. Got any leftovers from the 4th we can set off on my lunch break?
