This is a video from New Zealand’s Fiordland National Parkwhere a native Kea parrot steals the GoPro that was placed out to film the birds snacking, and films its getaway. The bird eventually lands with its accomplice, and proceeds to tear off and nibble on a piece of the GoPro while the camera’s owner quickly comes running to reclaim their property. Still, that flight footage was pretty spectacular. Knowing my luck, if this had been me I would have only captured an entirely too closeup video of what a parrot’s butt looks like while it’s flying, followed by the camera getting dropped into the first pool of a waste water treatment plant.
