STEE-RIKE!
Playing Glow In The Dark ‘Cosmic’ Baseball

Because theme nights make a trip to the ballpark even better (although I wouldn’t say no to a bobblehead giveaway), the collegiate summer baseball team Tri-City Chili Peppers of Colonial Heights, Virginia play several ‘cosmic’ games each season (move over, bowling!), held at night under blacklights with uniforms, bats, balls, bases, and confetti that glow under the light. That’s fun. At least until a pitcher throws a non-glow ball to intentionally hit a batter, then it’s a BENCH-CLEARING COSMIC ROYAL RUMBLE. I would pay to watch that. Not to brag or anything, but I ate seven hot dogs the last time I went to a baseball game, and it wasn’t even dollar dog night. Plus a soft pretzel and four mini helmets of soft serve. So, you know, that was $91 well spent.
