This is a video of dogs at the Humane Education Society of Hamilton County, Tennessee each picking out their own Christmas present from two lines of plush toys. Every single one seems to carefully sniff out a special toy, except BamBam, who just charges in and changes his mind several times (I can also respect that). Some more info about the Humane Education Society, which takes in over 5,000 homeless pets per year, while I daydream about being able to adopt all the dogs:
“We are an open-door facility to residents of our service area that provides adoption services, animal protection, cruelty investigation, pet licenses, and essential care for homeless pets. Humane Educational Society is committed to finding each and every treatable, adoptable, trainable animal in our facility a loving home to make Hamilton County a better place for pets.”
Every single one of those dogs was a 12/10 in my book. I really do wish I could adopt them all. I have three now but there’s room in my heart for so many more. Unfortunately, physical space and vet bills is the problem. Wait a minute — isn’t Mega Millions over a billion dollars?! *kneeling* Dear God, I never ask for much but please let me win the lotto tonight so I can buy Arkansas and adopt all the dogs.
