To mark the 25th anniversary of the incident, this is a video of the infamous 1997 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in which high winds caused Barney to rip himself wide open on a light pole. I remember it well: one minute I was stuffing my face with Thanksgiving morning cinnamon rolls, and the next I was watching Barney die in the middle of Times Square. Then I was back stuffing my face with cinnamon rolls. Pillsbury really outdid themselves that year.
