Video Of 1940’s Residential Los Angeles, Upscaled, Colorized, And Remastered

This is some footage of a residential Los Angeles neighborhood circa 1940 that’s been remastered in HD, with its framerate boosted to 60FPS. It’s also been stabilized, denoised, cleaned and deblurred, and colorized. If that’s the Portal of the Folded Wings Shrine to Aviation in the background (which it is), this is in Burbank. And not a single one of the houses you see in the video, even the very smallest, is now worth anything less than a million dollars. Crazy. I remember when I rented an apartment in Los Angeles the 1,200 square foot, 2 bedroom, 1 bath house house across the street from me sold for $890,000. And that was 7 years ago. Today even Jeff Bezos would probably have to take out a loan.
