Because, despite being completely blind to my own, I can still recognize someone else’s poor decision making, this is a video of a couple guys almost losing their car to Poseidon while trying to launch a jet ski on the beach. Should they have just unloaded the jet ski at the edge of the water? Yes. Why didn’t they do that? I have no clue. Thankfully for them, they’re able to push the car back out of the water, which I did not expect them to be able to do. People never cease to amaze me! Usually in a bad way.

This is a video of a woman who got out of her vehicle to argue/start a chicken fight with the employees at Chick-Fil-A (possibly sick and tired of them being closed on Sundays, or not serving cocktails), but didn’t bother putting her car in park first, so it proceeds to roll through the parking lot, over a curb, through a tree, and down a steep embankment. She also disappears chasing after it. Still, whatever she was arguing about, I’m sure it was worth it.

Because a moving picture is worth at least 100,000 words, this is a video comparing the sizes of various felines, from the 14″ rusty spotted cat, to the 13.4′ extinct Ngandong tiger. The felines really start looking unfriendly around the 1:10 mark. Of course size doesn’t always matter, and my cats are far more ferocious than you’d expect the little furballs to be. “Thank God they aren’t any bigger,” I regularly tell myself while making sure the bedroom door is closed and locked and there’s a chair in front of it before going to sleep at night.

This is a video of a golfer making an absolutely fantastic shot on a par 3 and the ball rolling right to the edge of the cup then stopping. WOMP WOMP. Sucks to be that guy — now instead of having a story about a hole-in-one to share at the clubhouse all he has is a story about an almost hole-in-one, which, as far as stories go, isn’t very exciting. Although neither are most actual hole-in-one stories either. I HIT THE BALL AND IT WENT IN THE HOLE.

A feet of modern engineering, this motorized electric skateboard built by Youtuber Vagabond Works (vagabonds typically don’t work is the thing) moves on 24 legs inspired by the Strandbeest kinetic sculptures of Theo Jansen. It’s totally rideable and steerable too, featuring two motors powering its legs, and a 661 pound weight limit. That’s great news if you plan on using it to move your bed. Still, this is not the skateboard you want to be riding when somebody yells “Do a kickflip!” because you’re only going to leave them disappointed.

These are several videos of illusionary artist Howard Lee painting different pieces of furniture to disappear into the background using the power of perspective. That’s neat. Of course the illusions work best from one very specific angle. From other angles it does not look so invisible. But is that going to stop me from still stubbing my toe on it, cursing up a storm, then dragging it into the yard to set fire to? It is not.
