This is a short home security cam clip of a boy trying to rush inside and lock his younger brother out of the house (classic older brother!) when the young ninja tosses his jacket into the door before it closes, preventing it from being locked. Based on his finely honed coat throwing skills, I have the feeling this wasn’t going to be the first time he was about to spend the afternoon watching his brother play video games through the living room window until mom came home.

This is a video of a cleverly designed Japanese condiment packet that dispenses both ketchup and mustard in equal parts simultaneously. I always knew I could count on Japan for this sort of innovation. Granted, rarely do I want equal parts of ketchup and mustard on anything. I’m usually 2/3s ketchup or 2/3s mustard, depending on the particular food application. And where’s the relish and chopped onions?! I could really talk about this all day but I don’t want your weekend to peak here so I won’t.

This is some security/cat cam footage of a cat attempting to jump on top of a pan leaning against a cat tree, that not working out because it was a terrible idea to begin with, and the entire roomful of cats going absolutely nuts as a result. This was clearly a fight or flight response, and every single one of these cats tried to spread their wings and take off. I recommend watching the video multiple times and following a different cat each time. It’s a real treat. A cat treat. One of the good ones with the soft filling inside.

This is a very tasty jam (think boysenberry, but grown and jarred in space) created by the Auralnauts featuring every utterance of “This Is The Way” in The Mandalorian seasons 1 – 3. Obviously, this will be stuck in my head for weeks. As if my girlfriend doesn’t already hear me say ‘This is the way’ enough already, and usually right before I do something definitely NOT the way.

This is a video of an excavator operator taking the time to fill a boy’s toy dump truck with some dirt while the crew is working in the yard (with a country version of Tracy Chapman’s ‘Fast Car’ added for unusual accompaniment). How sweet. Of course if I were that boy I would have requested he crush that porta-potty with the excavator bucket instead, but I’ve always been somewhat of a destructive spirit. Do you smell something? “Smells like fire.” I don’t know anything about that. *wink*
