Captured by astrophotographer Andrew McCarthy using two different telescopes, this is a composite shot of February 5th’s Snow Moon. Andrew captured the 148 megapixel image with the idea of highlighting the hidden colors of the moon’s mineral deposits in mind. Nice job, reminds me of the moon about to destroy Clock Town in The Legend Of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. Except that one had a face. This one looks like it has multiple faces. And is that Pac-Man top center? What has NASA been hiding from us?! SPOILER: aliens, and lots of them. As a matter of fact, I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if NASA has been funding its little space missions with the money earned a strip club it opened on the dark side of the moon. “NASA is super underfunded.” Well it’s hard to get there so patronage is low.
