A friend in need is a friend indeed: it took me forever to understand what that actually means. It means a friend to you when you’re in need is a true friend. I’m not very bright. This is a video from a zoo of a giraffe removing a branch stuck on a gazelle’s head. While certainly cute, I’m almost certain the giraffe was just looking for a snack, and saw some low-hanging fruit. “Dammit, get back here tree,” I imagine it cursing while giving chase.
