This is a video of metalworker JD Chambers of Rainfall Projects constructing a folding staircase for his woodworking friend Bourbon Moth, who finished it with a patina and wood of his choosing. The staircase is made of tubular steel, and folds flat to the wall when not in use. When in use, it’s like a regular staircase. One that definitely isn’t child safe. Or drunk safe. It’s probably just not be safe, period. Still cool though.
