These are a couple videos (the second being dash-cam footage from pursuing officers) of a stolen Audi Q5 hopping the actively opening University Bridge in Seattle. It’s not cool like in the movies, it just sort of drops off to the other side. Did the driver know they weren’t going to fall to the water below? No clue. The car was eventually found abandoned with an unsurprisingly damaged undercarriage. The suspect has not been found. So, if you’re ever in a police pursuit, I wouldn’t cross it off the list of options if you don’t want to get caught.
