This is a video of pianist Vinheteiro (previously) performing a medley of music chronologically from 1680 (Pachabel’s Canon) to 1935 (Carlos Gardel’s Por Una Cabeza) as a very abbreviated evolution of music. I learned a lot by listening to it. Mostly, that they sure don’t make them like they used to. I keep the local classical station on the radio in the car and whenever my girlfriend gets in she jokes me about it. I told her it’s the only thing that keeps me cool, calm, and collected when I’m driving. Then she opens her Spotify and I’m backing out of the driveway at 45MPH into the neighbor’s Halloween decorations.
