This is a video of bluegrass band Walker’s Run (clever) performing at a theater in Little Washington, Virginia, when Jack, guitarist Brennan Gilmore’s hound dog, wanders on stage from where he was sleeping in the green room to provide a little vocal accompaniment during the band’s encore. Precious moments. Sadly, Jack has since passed, but Brennan had him immortalized in a mother of pearl inlay on the headstock of one of his guitars and “thinks of him often.” You know, I often think about all the dogs that have touched my life as well. Gone, but never forgotten. *blowing into jug* I feel like there’s a chart-topping bluegrass song just waiting to be written here.
