In news that shouldn’t surprise anybody who’s ever been tasked with working with other people, large groups of ants were able to solve the piano mover’s puzzle better than large human groups in recent experiments conducted by the Weizmann Institute. The study found that individually or in small groups humans were able to solve the puzzle faster, but as group size increased so did ants’ ability to solve it. Which makes sense if you think about it because I’m pretty sure in any situation the more people involved, the more idiots involved, most of whom don’t even want to be there.
