Guy Builds Playing Card Clock That Tells Time With Cards

This is a video of clock builder Shinsaku Hiura constructing and demonstrating the ‘Casino Clock’ a clock thqt flips cards to tell the current time in the style of one of those mid-century analog flip clocks. Zeros are represented by jokers, aces are one, jacks are 11, and the queen is 12. Pretty clever! Also pretty loud, so I can’t recommend putting this on your nightstand unless you want an alarm going off every minute.

Thanks to my dad, who already built my mom a day of the week clock (they’re retired) and just finished building me a custom controller to regulate the humidity in my poison dart frog vivarium, so a playing card clock would be no problem.
