This is a video from the Biscuit Basin area of Yellowstone National Park of a hydrothermal explosion (caused when a quantity of hot water flashes to steam in a confined area) blasting boiling water, rocks, and mud into the air, sending tourists scrambling. The National Park Service has closed the area while the incident is investigated (Heck yeah, ask those rocks some questions — play good cop/bad cop!) and the walkway around the area is rebuilt. Thankfully, nobody was injured in the explosion. “Speak for yourself.” The mole people, everyone! Sometimes I forget about them because they live in my mind and only appear to conveniently end an article.
