Presumably because what else is there to do in rural France besides live your dream life and eat delicious, locally sourced food, this is a video from the Laguiole AOP Festival held near the Aubrac Plateau in Aveyron of a stretchy cheese competition. In this video, a cheesemaker’s Aligot de l’Aubrac cheese stretches nearly 6-meters (~19.7-feet) before breaking! That’s impressively stretchy. Almost as impressively stretchy as my pants will need to be after I eat all that cheese. I shattered a window with a jeans button once.
